PS. Love the thought behind all this btw ... not consumerism. It is stopping -- in this MAD world -- to celebrate what is bringing joy. Love you for this.
I so missed Favorite Things- great timing before summer. I could not make the zoom, so here are a few from me:
1. Mila Air Purifier: I live in So. Cal. and fires are always a potential, so I wanted to get ahead on air purifiers for my house before it was an issue. These exceed the expect because they have an AQI (air quality index) reader built in and run based on the need. Warning though, my daughter lit a smelly candle and it went crazy running and the AQI was reading as terrible, so it definitely is a "purist" machine, but it's probably for the better.
2. Outdoor solar lights, lots of them: I finally just splurged on Wayfair and bought a ton of outdoor solar lights of all different types. They are just so easy and completely change my property at night. Plus, I think they are guaranteed light if we get home late or go on vacation for a little more security.
3. Comedy Shows: I live in a place where this is an option. That being said, its a new date destination for me and my husband. I find concerts so fun, but the price tag has gotten so high! Many comedy shows have tickets for less than $50 and its just great live entertainment.
4. Bioray.com: Homeopathic drops for all sorts of wellness. I have been using these products for years to treat my son's autism symptoms (with great success) and it finally dawned on me that I should be taking them myself (typical mom forgetting to take care of herself).
5. Martha Stewart: I restarted following her (loved her as a teen) because she is just feeds my Enegram 1 soul with her crazy over-attention to all the details and appreciation of all things nature and home-life, while be a badass business woman. This was a circle-back of reflecting on things I loved when I was young, but forgot about.
