They are so fun! And especially nice when we watch scary things because we're not alone - ha! We'll explain it in detail in the posts dedicated to the watchalongs, but basically we all get on zoom together like we would any other meeting and then we all press play on the movie/show we're watching at the same time. So ideally you'll need two devices (I feel like most people watch the show on their tv and then have their laptops open to the zoom) and although we mute the zoom meeting, we keep our cameras on to see each others faces and the zoom chat is always poppin'. π It kind of sounds cheesy, but they're very fun.
Yes! For the first meeting we'll be reading through the END of the section titled "Feeling It" (page 496 in the paperback version), stopping right before the beginning of the section titled "In the Jug." And all of this will be laid out in the dedicated Stephen King Summer post coming later this week.
Newbie to SKS. How does a watch party workπππ

This will be my first summer participating! Not sure I can attend all of the sessions, but happy they will be recorded.
Yay how exciting :) I love the Outsider series and it's my favorite SK book! Best audio narration I've ever heard
Is there a specific spot Under The Dome that we are stopping at for the first discussion?

I was wondering if there is a schedule also.
