I just finished listening to this one!! I really liked the part where you talked about how in midlife you can finally say “This is who I am.” While many things have changed over the course of 10 years (living in a different state, oldest child about to go to college), the part that resonated the most was being comfortable with the things that stay the same. In my case, it’s finally accepting being an introvert and homeboy after years of fighting against it.
I loved the quote about drowning until you grow a pair of gills. Very profound. What I love about Meg is she isn't afraid to talk about anything on her blog. We all should be more like her.
Love this. I’m listening now. Ten years ago I had a newborn and moved into our house in a new state. We are still in the same house but mostly everything else is different 😂
