I have loved watching you listen to your intuition. First the freeform conversation with Meg where you realized that you were ready to step away from Sorta Awesome. Then seeing you just take off with 10 Things and your awesome books which have made a significant difference in my life. As much as it will be sad not to have 10 Things in my feed every week, thanks for being an example of how to do it--how to listen to your own knowing, how to leave a space when it's time, etc.
Thank you Laura! I will really miss the weekly episodes but I’m so thankful to be a part of the Secret Stuff community and know I’ll continue to hear from you there. Your voice has been valuable to me ever since I started listening to you on Sorta Awesome 10 years ago. I really appreciate your many contributions to the podcast/internet world and wish you the absolute best as you figure out what’s next!
I have loved 10 Things ... I veer towards news/political content on podcasts but it can overwhelm me and you have been a place where the content is smart, interesting, inspiring but always "tender". A soft place to land, even when your subject matter was "difficult". You have a knack for that:). So, I will miss starting or ending my drives with you. Can't wait to learn what's next!
This is so helpful! I just subscribed this year so this gives me some places to listen to some great backlist episodes. Since I am a Secret Stuff subscriber, I will see you there.
Laura! Hugs and congratulations on this incredible creative effort. I loved hopping on the mic with you and will be rooting you on during your "percolation" phase.
I don’t know what it says about me but the 3 tentpole types of episodes are ones I don’t enjoy - not a journaller, I like what I like (on my skin and in my books) and I lean towards underbuying and am South African so no shopping in the US for me.
However I love many episodes and some stand out like the breast cancer one, the houseguests one, all the friendship ones and many solo reflective episodes (loved the ones during the pandemic).
Can’t wait to hear what you do next. Also I missed one or two so off to download now.
Yes to the quarterly book episodes!!!
I sure am excited to see what you do next! Always a joy to watch you flourish!

Thank you for this podcast, Laura, and congratulations on wrapping up this chapter. Your work is a gift to us all!
